Leveraging the exceptional quality of calcite resources in Hechi, Guangxi, this new materials deep-processing production line with a capacity of 1,000 tonnes per hour aims to establish a nationally leading demonstration base for high-end calcium carbonate industries. The project integrates crushing, screening, shaping and drying processes, featuring highly forward-looking technological configuration. Raw ore is uniformly fed via vibrating feeders into jaw crushers for primary coarse crushing, then proceeds to single-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers for high-throughput medium crushing. Subsequently, material is conveyed to multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers employing the laminar crushing principle for fine crushing, ensuring uniform particle shape. To meet the stringent demands for premium aggregates in new materials applications, the system incorporates an impact sand-making machine for shaping and sand production. The screening stage innovatively combines a circular vibrating screen for high-capacity grading with a high-precision square swing screen for fine material refinement. The final stage incorporates a large-scale drying system, precisely controlling the moisture content of the finished product. This provides a high-quality, low-humidity standardised base material for subsequent ultrafine powder processing. The entire production line achieves the efficient transformation of calcite from raw ore into premium raw material for advanced new materials.
Project Summary
The successful commissioning of this Hechi calcite deep-processing project has not only realised high-value-added utilisation of local mineral resources, but also established itself as a benchmark project in the non-metallic mineral processing sector across Southwest China through its high dry-tonnage capacity and sophisticated processing capabilities. Since operation commenced, the main equipment has demonstrated stable performance, with finished calcite exhibiting optimal particle size distribution and consistently high levels of whiteness and purity. This has markedly enhanced the client's market competitiveness. More significantly, serving as a showcase of the enterprise's technological prowess, this project has played a pivotal demonstrative role under the impetus of the national Belt and Road Initiative. Leveraging the mature process expertise and robust equipment quality honed in the Biss project, the enterprise has successfully opened doors to the Central Asian market. This high-standard integrated solution for crushing, screening, and drying has been replicated and exported in batches to Kyrgyzstan. This initiative not only provides substantial support for local infrastructure and industrial development in Kyrgyzstan but also exemplifies the dynamic practice of Chinese mining machinery brands deepening their engagement with Belt and Road countries, achieving two-way transfer of both technology and production capacity.
