Product Overview

The spring cone crusher is a conventional medium-fine crushing apparatus employing a spring overload protection mechanism, renowned for its robust construction and dependable operation. The equipment operates via an electric motor driving the horizontal shaft, which transmits power through bevel gears to induce a swinging motion in the movable cone, thereby achieving material compression and crushing. Its core advantage lies in the spring overload protection system: when non-crushable foreign objects enter the crushing chamber, the springs compress to widen the discharge opening. Upon expulsion of the foreign object, the system automatically resets, effectively safeguarding the main unit from damage. The unit employs a dry oil sealing system, effectively preventing dust ingress into lubrication points to ensure long-term stable operation. Particularly suited for processing medium to high-hardness materials, the spring cone crusher delivers high crushing force, substantial throughput, and low maintenance costs, making it an economical and practical crushing solution for mining and aggregate processing industries.


Working Principle

During operation of the spring-loaded cone crusher, the motor drives the eccentric sleeve to rotate via a V-belt, large pulley, drive shaft, small bevel gear, and large bevel gear. The crushing cone’s central axis undergoes rotational oscillation driven by the eccentric sleeve, causing the crushing wall surface to alternately approach and retreat from the bowl liner surface. This action subjects the material within the annular crushing chamber formed by the fixed and moving cones to continuous impact, compression, and bending forces, thereby achieving fragmentation. After multiple cycles of compression, impact, and bending, the material is reduced to the required particle size and discharged through the lower outlet.
