Working Principle

The flotation machine works by using the difference in physical and chemical properties of mineral surfaces. After the ore is ground into fine powder, it is mixed with water and flotation reagents to form ore slurry. When the impeller rotates at a high speed, a large amount of air is sucked into the slurry and dispersed into tiny bubbles.
Useful mineral particles adhere to the bubbles and float to the surface of the slurry, forming mineralized foam. The scraper collects the foam as concentrate, while the gangue and useless materials sink to the bottom and are discharged as tailings. Through this process, the separation and purification of minerals are realized.
