Product Overview
The hammer crusher is a device that employs high-speed rotating hammers to impact and break down materials, making it particularly well-suited for processing medium-hardness brittle materials such as limestone, coal, and coke. Its core advantages lie in its compact structure, high crushing ratio (typically ranging between 10 and 25), and relatively low energy consumption.
Working Principle
Upon entering the crusher chamber through the feed inlet, the material is subjected to intense impact from high-speed rotating hammers, causing it to fracture. Simultaneously, within the crushing chamber, the material undergoes mutual collision and friction against the liner plates. Material that meets the required particle size specification is ultimately discharged through the screen bars at the base.
Core Components of the PY Spring Cone Crusher
The machine primarily comprises the casing, rotor, hammers, lining plates, and grate bars.
1、Casing
Comprising upper and lower sections, its inner walls are lined with high-manganese steel liners for wear resistance. Inspection doors facilitate maintenance.
2、Rotor
The core working component, consisting of a main shaft, hammer discs, pins, and hammer heads. Hammer heads are pivotally mounted on the discs via pins, enabling free oscillation.
3、Hammer Heads
Typically fabricated from wear-resistant materials such as high-manganese steel, these components directly impact and crush materials. They require replacement or surface adjustment upon wear.
4、Liner Plates and Screen Bars
Liner plates protect the inner shell walls, while screen bars (or grate bars) regulate the discharge particle size.
