Product Overview
The C Series jaw crusher serves as the core equipment for primary crushing operations in mining and aggregate processing, renowned for its robustness and high efficiency. It is specifically engineered to crush rocks and ores of varying hardness.
Featuring a heavy-duty frame and optimised crushing chamber design, the equipment operates with exceptional stability and withstands high-intensity impacts. Its modular construction facilitates straightforward replacement of core wear parts, significantly reducing maintenance costs and downtime. Concurrently, the hydraulic adjustment system enables precise and efficient discharge opening control.
With its outstanding reliability, high throughput, and low operating costs, the C Series jaw crusher stands as the ideal choice for achieving stable, high-yield objectives, truly earning its reputation as the ‘hard rock conqueror’.
Working Principle
The crushing method employed by the C-series jaw crusher is dynamic compression. Its operating principle is as follows: the motor drives the belt and pulley, causing the movable jaw to move forward and backward, as well as up and down, via the eccentric shaft. The top of the crushing chamber is larger than the bottom. As the movable jaw moves forward and backward relative to the fixed jaw, material fed into the top chamber is compressed between the two jaws, breaking it into smaller fragments. When the movable jaw moves away from the fixed jaw, the crushed material discharges through the bottom outlet. The desired size is determined by the gap between the jaws.
Core components of the C Series jaw crusher
1. Frame
The frame constitutes the primary structural component of the crusher, typically fabricated from welded high-strength steel plates or premium cast steel. It provides the mounting foundation and support for all other components, necessitating the capacity to withstand immense impact loads and vibrations. Reinforcing stiffening plates are commonly fitted to both sides of the frame to enhance rigidity and durability.
2. Moving Jaw Assembly
The moving jaw assembly is a dynamic unit, with the moving jaw body as its core component. This body is suspended via bearings on the eccentric shaft. It houses replaceable moving jaw plates (wear parts), which form the crushing chamber alongside the fixed jaw plate mounted on the frame.
3. Eccentric Shaft Assembly
This constitutes the most critical moving component of the entire apparatus. It comprises a heavy-duty alloy steel shaft featuring a specific eccentric section, mounted on the frame via large double-row spherical roller bearings. The motor drives the pulley via V-belt transmission, thereby rotating the eccentric shaft.
