Project site
The client is a prominent non-metallic mineral processing enterprise in Tanzania, possessing high-quality calcite ore resources. It primarily supplies premium calcium carbonate powder to markets across East Africa and the Middle East. To enhance production capacity and product fineness, the client has selected our integrated ball milling and classification production line for ultra-fine grinding of the raw ore.
The raw calcite ore undergoes coarse and medium crushing via jaw crushers and cone crushers, reducing it to a particle size suitable for ball mill feeding. The crushed material is conveyed to storage silos via belt conveyors, then uniformly and steadily fed into the ball mill by a quantitative feeder.
Within the ball mill, the material undergoes thorough grinding under the action of grinding media until the required fineness is achieved. The ground powder is conveyed by an induced draft fan to a high-efficiency classifier for separation. Oversized particles are returned to the ball mill for regrinding, while qualified fine powder enters a pulse dust collector for gas-solid separation. The final powder is collected and transferred to the finished product silo.
