A delegation from the Zhengzhou Institute of Comprehensive Utilisation of Mineral Resources, under the China Geological Survey, visited Henan Shaolin Heavy Machinery for a research visit

In May 2024, a delegation led by Guo Zhenxu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhengzhou Institute of Comprehensive Utilization of Mineral Resources, China Geological Survey, Dr. Liu, Director of the Metallurgy Department, and Dr. Lv, Director of the Mineral Processing Department, visited Shaolin Heavy Machinery to conduct a special research. Focusing on core issues such as the comprehensive utilization of minerals and tailings, energy conservation and consumption reduction of new equipment, environmental protection and low carbon of new technologies, and technological innovation, the delegation conducted an in-depth understanding of the company’s development, accurately connected with cooperation needs, and discussed the path for high-quality development of the industry. Wang Jinfa, Chairman of Shaolin Heavy Machinery, accompanied the research throughout and gave a detailed explanation. The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on technological innovation, achievement transformation and cooperation implementation in related fields.

As a directly affiliated prefecture-level scientific research institution of the China Geological Survey, Zhengzhou Institute of Comprehensive Utilization of Mineral Resources is the supporting unit of the National Engineering and Technology Research Center for Comprehensive Utilization of Non-metallic Mineral Resources. It mainly undertakes the evaluation of comprehensive utilization of minerals, technological innovation and standardization construction, as well as ecological geological survey and restoration demonstration. It has profound technical accumulation and authoritative industry influence in the fields of efficient utilization of mineral resources and green mine construction. During the research, accompanied by Chairman Wang Jinfa, Secretary Guo Zhenxu and his entourage successively went deep into the production workshop, R&D center and product exhibition area of Shaolin Heavy Machinery, inspected the production process, technical performance and application scenarios of core products such as ultra-fine grinding mills, new fluidized roasting furnaces, hydraulic double-roll sand making machines and XHP series cone crushers on the spot, and asked in detail about the product R&D investment, technological innovation breakthroughs, and the effectiveness of energy conservation and consumption reduction. Combining with the company’s development history, Chairman Wang Jinfa comprehensively introduced Shaolin Heavy Machinery’s technical layout in the field of comprehensive utilization of minerals and tailings, focusing on the special equipment developed by the company for tailings resource utilization, as well as the innovative measures in the energy-saving transformation of new equipment and the upgrading of environmental protection processes.

At the forum, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions around the key topics of the research. Secretary Guo Zhenxu and his entourage highly praised Shaolin Heavy Machinery’s technical strength, product layout and green development concept in the field of equipment manufacturing.
